Dipstick tube after header install
I just installed a set of Hooker 2055 headers with AIR, and was wondering what you guys have done with the oil dipstick tube to secure it? It is originally secured to the manifold, but after you remove that and install the headers there is really nothing handy to bolt it to........I currently have it strapped to one of the AIR tubes on the headers, but would prefer to have a better solution.

mine is kind of a press fit type and i just gently tapped it in the block and it doesnt need to be fastened anywhere. you might look into that if you dont want to have to secure it.

Mine is also the press-in fit (original) style, but it has a mounting tab welded onto the tube that used to be fastened to the manifold bolt. If you don't tie it to something, it can move around a bit...probably not a big deal, but I feel better with it secured.
