Hang in there. Try removing valve covers, moving the AC to one side as well as trying to slip them in from the top and bottom. You will get them. Dynomax headers are just like the flowtechs are easy to get in compaired to some of the others.

what's wrong with lifting the motor, that's what i did and it was soooo easy to install the headers and it was my 1st install. and putting the motor back on the mounts was a little tuff but it was worth it for how easy the headers went in

Which side is it exactly that you're having trouble with? I just removed and replaced my flowtechs last week.
Driver's side: remove the oil dipstick tube, temp sensor in the head, spark plugs. It fit in with no jacking of the engine. Here's a tip. Replace the spark plugs when you have the headers bolted up loosely, since some are hard to get to with the headers tightened up.
Passenger side: pulled the ac compressor off, removed spark plugs, starter was off so you might have to remove it. I think this one fit tight, but you may need to remove the valve cover for a little extra room if you can't get it.
Both went in from the top. Driver's side *might* got in from the bottom with the oil filter removed... seems like I almost dropped mine out the bottom on accident.

i am having trouble with the drivers side.. havnt even got to the pass side yet... i have tried from top, bottom sideways, and allother possibly directions, oil fileter out, valve colver off, alternator off, sensorts off, the only thing i would have donw would be to remove the stering rack to make it fit and i coudlnt figure out how to get that section out, nor did i want to....

All you need is a jack and a block of wood under the oil pan. Take out the bolt that goes through engine mount and engine bracket (one per side). Jack away and should fall right in.

didnt need to even do that....

pass slipped right in from underneath... took out hte coolant sensor and that was it. didnt have to take out the starter or anything. drivers side had to take off the valve cover and collapse the uppser and lower steering shafts and they went right in

it was just a bithc getting to osme of the bolts on the stock manifolds

Do you have a hydraulic jack? Use that and some 2x4 peices under the balancer to lift the engine a few inches. I did that to get my oil pan off in the summer, and it was easily high enough to do a set of headers.
