T.p.i Header's On T.b.

T.p.i Header's On T.b.

I read a couple of tread's but I'm still not sure.I have T.B Injected engine right now but soon I plan to put a tpi system pretty soon.so I was wondering can u put tpi header's on a T.B. engine

Yes, you can. Highly recommended even if you stay with the TBI set-up.

Nope. Everything is in the exact same location. All Gen I and Gen II motors share that in commong . Doesn't matter what motor it is.

Get headers with a y-pipe. Otherwise, there will have to be modifications made - no headers bolt to the factory y-pipe.

The cat inlet is bigger for TPI than TBI. The hot setup is to replace the entire TBI exhaust system with headers, cat, and catback for the TPI application.

Transmission: AUTO
Axle/Gears: 3.42 rear end
IF (while still a TBI) you want to hook up your Thermac, Hooker makes a part/adapter to do so. 10930HKR check it out on the Holley website.

Clamps on to your new header and provides the thermal feedback to the air cleaner assembly....

Look at it close and hard enough and you MIGHT be able to make your own. Then when you switch to TPI, just remove the clamp and assembly.
