Flowmaster Super 40s??

Went and bought a Flowmaster Super 40 this afternoon. 3" offset/center for a single outlet driver's side set up. Anyone here running one? What do they sound like on these cars? I guess I'll find out in the morning but Im just curious. I've heard some good things about them.

I'm running dual 40 series 3" pipes and they sound awesome and loud-I need to install a H or X pipe yet. My car runs the same number with the exhaust and open headers....big plus IMO since I dont ever have to worry about dropping teh exhaust to go faster

Are they the Super 40s or the old school regular 40s? The Super 40s are the new ones that have the larger black case instead of the smaller silver aluminum case. I heard they outflow the old ones by alot and the sound is alot deeper and meaner sounding.

Now you got me wondering, Told tech at Jegs I wanted the Super 40's, but mine are the silver/aluminum looking case 4" thick. So I guess I dont know now....thanks alot Either way what I have works for me since it runs the same both ways.

Sounds like you got the older Delta Flow 40s.

Yeah you didn't get the super 40's. The super 40's are all black and 5in tall X 10in wide if I remember right.
