Hooker LT Question...

I need some help here. I have allready read the post about installing these over and over again... I just installed the Hooker 2210's on my 91 Camaro. The passenger side went on fine from underneath, but the driver side was a different story. I could not slide it from underneath, so I unbolted the motor mount and jacked up the engine which was still a real PITA, anyways once its in and bolted up the number one tube is making some contact with the top of the K member. Any body ever have this problem or heard of anyone with it.
Now I also just put in a T56 with a SPOHN crossmember and torque arm but I dont think that would have put a different angle on the motor. Any Help....Thanks Eric

I did go through the sticky above and could not find any body who had the same problem. I saw where Traxion and others had to grind the A Arm mount and move brake lines but no one who had a tube rubbing the top of a k member. Thanks though, Eric

You have weak motor mounts. The poly mounts will raise the engine up about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

Brand new Poly mounts...

I think that Spohn tranny mount has a little adjustments that I can make so I will check that out this weekend, Thanks for the suggestions though. Eric
