3" from bolck to exhaust?
I have a 86 irocz witha a 305 bored .40 over and i want to get headers and a exhaust kit. Can i run 3" pipes form the block back?
Or do i have to have some kind of compression?

You can run a full single 3" system without any problems. I would look at a set of headers that have a 3" y-pipe and than mate them to a 3" cat and cat-back of your choice. Make sure that you buy a TPI specific application so that there won't be any reducers on the end of the 3" piping.
