quiting down JUST A TAD
ok my exhaust isnt that loud, but my dad thinks it is, its got a nice tone to it, a nice kinda of crackle, but my dad thinks its too loud so i have to quiet it down a bit..
this is my pickup BTW, 92 sonoma with a 4.3
its an open 2.5" pipe about 2 feet from the cat, just cut off where the muffler was at, no mufflers, just the cat..
its at the verge of being quite, i was kinda dissapointed by it having no mufflers and being so quiet, i could tell my dad was debating in his mind about whether to think its too quiet or not, so i just need to bring it down a tad.. so i just need to quiet it down a tad, what do you think i should do?
do you think a turndown would do the trick? i cant imagine it would make that much difference. i bought a 30" glasspack for it because it was only like 25 bucks but its WAAY to quiet! almost like the stock muffler!
i have a 14" open element air filter, do you think switching back to the stock air cleaner would take the edge off of it? or switching to a 10" open element?
i dont want to spend alot, ive already spent quite a bit.. any tips to quiet it down just a tad so my dad wont think its too loud?
