Picture says it all it was fun and really turns heads. lol.

THese are not finished pics by the way!!!!!!
and you only loose the little drop space in the back of the car for all you guys that take your family around in your car and go grocery shoping in the third gen so since i dont do any of these i didnt need the little 3 cubic feet i lost of trunk space.

Very unique.

I wanted to do something like that, but mold it flush into the bumper instead out of vent looking holes....

Nice job on that. Some people might not like the aesthetics of it, but the craftsmanship has to be acknowledged

Because no matter how you do it, center exhaust makes it look like the car has a sphincter. (Which is almost poetic, since the purposes are smiliar.)

Having said that, I've seen worse, although I'll reserve final judgement until I've see how it looks after carbon and condensation have dripped down onto the bumper for a while.

NO burnt plastic !!!!!!!!!! cut a hole through the bottom well and ran the pipe strait up and bent to a 90 through the hole i cut between the tail lights.

Then weld plates over top of the assymbly.

LOoks like a gas hump on the back of the well.

i have to say that is a very unique mod and i like it....at first when i read that it was a center mount i was about to scream cause im in the process of building my custom fit 4th gen style loud mouth exhaust with the Center Mount tips. until i get a new usb cable for my camera i cant post pics but i will tell you that you can not see the piping goin to the tips as i cut about an inch up into the center of my rear bumber cover and did it nicely, cut out a small section of my rear bumper support and tucked those pipes up nicely for a quality finish. all i have left to do is decide wether im going true duals to the CME tips or just stay with the Loudmouth catback which will require some additional bending to reach the height of the tips.

I like it! Just remember that kids will love to put rocks in those and bigger kids will crumple up beer cans and throw 'em in there. One thing they can't do is step on 'em!

I'm not trying to cause problems or be an idiot. But I cant believe no one has said it looks horrible. Your craftsmanship does appear to be excellent so why waste it on a horrible mod like that. Its like using the force for evil instead of good, its just not right! Centered exiting exhausts look horrible on third gens. The rear area is too flat and boring it needs something to offset the emptiness of it all. O well keep it up because you learn from everything you do and customizing makes it unique.

I'm thinking the same. There's a highlight on the bottom of the left pipe, and that highlight is in the same position in the second photo, even though the angle's changed. Plus, the space inside the hole is too dark.

That being said, I don't like it. Too much fabrication would be involved and it doesn't look that good.

Even if it is authentic, and whether it looks good or not... too many 90 degree angles and exhaust do not belong in the same sentence. This mod will only restrict exhaust flow.

While I like the look from the outside, I gotta say....."Glad it's not my car!" Be careful with that exhaust, you could easily have major carbon monoxide building up in the cabin while driving....especially since the back of the car is a low pressure area.

its all sealed up so no carbon monoxide.

and its just sheetmetal the bottom hump is useless on our cars. so it changed the car very little now it has a trunk like a vette.

ohh well it turns more heads than any other mod plus it was fun to do.

clean up some of the rough edges in the trunk, fix the bottom of the well and make a custom interior for the rear and it will look great. personally i am not a fan of where they exit but the back end tips look 120x's better than the installation itself.

Your idea tho thumps up for that.

WOW, what about when it rains, or road noise, or exhaust fumes, or heat from the exhaust. That is the most ghetto rigged up setup. You really need to completely seal off the back part from the inside of the car.

hey guys these are not the finished pics.

Its all sealled up and looks good inside. i just didnt need that bottom part so i took it out. You know its very fun cutting up cars especially when its easy to go back if you dont like it.

Ill post the rest when i get done with the show.

have a good one ....
