What length tips?
Alright so i need to get some tips on my car but I am looking to get them through good ole' Ebay and I'm up at school and my car is still in storage. I was wondering what length tip hooks up nice on our cars with seeing the joint too easily but still using the stock setup. I was thinking like 22"

There is no set length that makes them "look good" really. It is personal preference. Most people strive to have the tips flush with the outside face of the rear bumper. Any length tip can be used provided you can cut down the tail pipes in order to have them allinged as such.

yes but if you read my post i am not by my car for the next week and i want to buy the tips now and was wondering what lengths people have used. I could easily figure it out myself but my car isn't here now.
I think what shifty is saying is that you can go with any length tip, and just trim your tail pipe to the length you need to match the tips. My brother had those 20" huge things on his car for a while, and just trimmed the tail pipes to length. They only stuck out past the bumper 2-3". I personally like them either hidden or flush with the bumper, depending on the style of the tip. I usually run the ones that are around 6" long, if I run them at all.

I realize i can trim the stock pipe to fit the tips to the length i want but i want to conceal the joint of the the stock pipe and the tip as much as possible. For that reason I don't like something as small as a 6" tip. I think i will go with something like an 18".
