Crankcase venting
G'day this is my first post and I hope it is in the correct section. I have a 1985 Z28 Camaro with an LG4 engine and I would like to put an aftermarket air cleaner on the quadrajet. The new air cleaner I have has the crankcase vent tube coming from the bottom of the air cleaner and the hose routing is too tight so just wondering if I can blank this off and just use a breather cap or filter in the grommet where the crankcase vent tube normally goes. Any information would be appreciated. PS I am in Australia. Thanks for reading.

yeah you can do a breather. Or just put the tube up against the open element. And the proper forum would have been the General Tech forum just FYI
