straight pipe on 305?
i have a super 40 with 3" piping and stock headers and y pipe as well as stock cat i was thinking up taking out the cat and putting a test pipe will it sound to raspy or will it be more throaty?

I don't have headers yet but I did get rid of the cat and I have super traps and no cross over muff anymore and I just love the sound

I just got rid of my dual cats and have a flowmaster 80 series with a cutout. I cant leave the cutout open anymore because it is way too loud without the cats. my flowmaster sounds much better than before though.

you`ll definately get a little raspy.when you rev it,i know mine did when i removed my cat.i`ve got an imco muffler and no cats.it`s not to bad but it depends on what you like.
