Shaving A.I.R. Tubes inside primaries
I recently bought Coated Edelbrock TES Headers. They look great, however, the A.I.R. tubes extend about a quarter inch inside each primary.
Attached is a pic compliments of "thedogs" ...
Anyway, the welds on top of the primaries seem pretty good. I'd like to grind these tubes down on the inside, but I'm not sure if I can go all the way smoothe, or just take a little bit off. I will attach another pic of how "thedogs" grinded them. Can I take it a little bit further w/o leaking?
Thanks,
KZad

I had the same thing on my SLP's...I ground them all smooth and flush with the tubes and removed any excess weld that would hinder flow.....
