Thinking about switching over to 80 Series

Gimme your input guys.....I have the spintech right now and do not get me wrong.....It sounds good but It is a little too poppy at WOT. Do I go with the Flow or do I stick with the Spin.....

Don't do it...

I have recently put a set on with a 3" pipe & their not for me. I was really excited about getting them & was let down. Their way to mellow. I was exspecting something aggressive, NOT... I have to roll my windows down & get on it to hear them. I need to at least feel some sport...I have the 70's on my 02 Dodge Ram & they are great. I'm looking at going to duals. Hope you find what you need.

Looking at the SDT by Edelbrock?

Just Do It!

I don't know but something MUST be wrong if "Tranny" has to roll down his windows to hear his Flowmaster 80. They take a little bit to "burn in" but mine sounded great right away. Bottom line is man, no one on this board can tell you reliably, because we all have our own opinion of what sounds "good".

With that said, I love my 3" American Thunder system! It has the 80 series crossflow and it is plenty loud. I hear it all the time, its loud inside and loud outside. I know the popping noise you are referring to, and mine doesn't have it. It gets very loud and roars between 2500 and 5000 RPM. It has a nice deep idle and I get compliments on it all the time.
