4 bolt cat flange w/ 3 inch intermediate pipe?
Who still makes an exhaust that is a dead on bolt up to the factory 4 bolt flanged cats and has an true 3 inch intermediate pipe diameter?
Trying to figure out if the hooker or edelbrock will work but cant verify intermediate pipe diameter and availability of bolting up to the 4 bolt flange.
Has to be 4 bolt flange and 3 inch intermeditate(have the cat and the cutout)
Going onto the TTA, lets just say the stcker is a restriction just a little bit now.
thanks

The hooker areochamber system I bought for my car fit my 4 bolt cat flange just like stock...however, this was about 7 years ago and I do not know if they still offer it for those applications.

U verify the true 3 inch from the catback for the intermediate pipe?
And second question, are the hangers the same on the exhaust?
I know at the cat will be fine but the rear for the tailpipes?

Yeah, I think I remember mine was cheaper than the other kits too. Yup, it comes with the huge 3 inch dual chrome tips. It really is a nice kit for the money. I discarded the tips for more stealthy turn-downs....the big chrome thing is not my style

The only place it might not be 'true' 3" is right at the flange, where it is ovalized somewhat. Its not too bad though.
For the record, the system I ordered was for the '83-85 L69 (5.0 HO) cars. For some reason, its alot cheaper than the systems Hooker makes for the TPI cars.... cheaper by like $50 !!

This is the system I have, although its not actually a pic of mine. I found it here a few months ago.
The name of the pic (16822.jpg) is the Hooker part number.

thanks guys,
I appreciate that alot.
I'm goign to be getting the 16823 system. Hookups will be right and comes with tips that once I angle cut them, will mimic the originals on the tta.
Think the difference in price from the 16822 and 16823 is the simple matter of one has tips, and the other one doesnt.
