Well, I needed exhaust on the car before friday (Worcester Summer Nationals), just to get me from my house basicly to the highway and then back through the town afterwards, but none of the exhaust places could do it by the weekend (i've got a hooker cat-back, just need a custom y-pipe for my hedman long tubes)
Soo.....
this is what about 70 bucks will get ya, and it took about an hours worth of actual work (not counting buying the parts)

Sweet jesus. I'll be sure to check that out at the nationals. Good ingenuity too bad about the shops being busy.

Hopefully my car will be done for next year's nats!

I forgot to ask, how does it sound? I almost got those on my car but I went with turbo mufflers instead.

it sounds OK.....
I've got a hooker cat-back that i'm gonna put on ASAP, just need the y-pipe made. The mufflers do their job.....they quiet the exhaust down enough that I could drive it on the street. Doesnt sound particularly NICE in my opinion, i prefer a more aggressive sound, but hey, for the price, it'll get me to worcester!
Sorta funny.....i put the exhaust on, so i can take the exhaust off (at the nats).....LOL

Would you think they would sound better than purple horneys? Do they sound different? Also the purple horneys i have are old, do you think new glass packs will be quieter? Thanks

Well, from lookng at both the red-hots and purple hornies in the store, theyre the same exact thing except the purple hornies have flanges welded on and are purple. Shouldnt sound much different.
Oh, and Josh, the bird wont be at the nationals
