Rear manifold broke!

Hey, all.

My bro recently bought a 91 RS. BUT, the passenger's side rearmost exhaust manifold bolt is broken off in the head. It's a 3.4L. Is there ANY way possible short of pulling the head or tearing apart the engine compartment to get the bolt out? He doesn't really have a place, or the time and money, to pull the top of the engine off. And this is a really cherry ride he's gotten a hold of. A little rust on the fender lip on the rear passenger's side, a couple rock chips on the nose, not a whole lot else. Interior is beautiful. Stock, and no "Type R" or "NOS" crap to tear out. It only needs headliner screws, and I told him I'd do that myself to make sure it looked like it came stock like that. And every power accessory works.

And yes, I did a search. I didn't find anything.

wow, that sux. Have you tried any of the easy out bolt extractors? If you have zero luck with something like that, I hate to say it but tearing it all down will be your only option. I broke a bolt off in the head and was able to just turn the remainder out by hand. That may sound like I got lucky except for the second bolt I broke off not cooperating. Good luck.

I have a broken bolt on my 350, and NOTHING can get it out... not an EZ-out (broke), not a welded on nut (broke too), a torch won't loosen it up... nothing. I'm gonna have to re n' re the head to fix the problem.
