Mufflers .........again

Ok Ive read all the posts about who makes more power and torque curve and all that mess , I dont care about who gets a gain of 12 horsepower and who gets 13.5 horespower, I have an almost stock 92' 5.7 TPI Z28 stock muffler , based on loudness of mufflers , whos the best , 80 series flowmaster , Borla , Dynomax , Spintech , Magnaflow ...and so on , Iam not concerned with who makes the most hp , I just want to hear it while Iam cruising , and to be a nice decent loud muffler.

Hooker Aerochambers sound nice, my friend has one on his '89 TBI Formula.

I was listening to recordings on the net... the one that sounded the sweetest to me was the 40 Flowmaster...
But some people complained about the "dronce" effect & resonance... with this in mind, I purchased a newly designed Super 40, it's black, a little bigger, deeper tone, not as much resonance as the regular 40 and out flows it by a lot... I don't have it hooked up yet.. I also went with a 3 in 3 out... I'm not too keen on showing the exhaust pipe, I think it's better hidden on my bird...

Go for what you like, try and listen to different ones...

I don't have the web site, but it had different mufflers, on different cars....
I heard an 88 camaro with the 40 series... had to have a cigarette afterwards!

I know different companies have different mufflers, some peopel love flowmaster, some hate it... that car just sounded so sweet... I know other factors play into it... but that company has a reputation for a reason... the new super 40 addresses all the complaints I heard aout the regular 40... and has a deeper tone...

Do a google search for mufflers wav sound, etc...

Hooker Aerochambers are the baddest sounding mufflers (that are reasonably quiet) I've heard on any V8...
