Headers!
I want some headers, but the ones I want are around 700 bucks. I don't mind spending the money as long as I see some impressive power gains. Are the worth it?
They are SLP 1 3/4 coated headers. They will be on a bolt on (for the moment) L98.
Are there any other alternative that offer similar performance?
How much power/Lower 1/4 et am I going to see?

The SLPs are good but the price is a down side and some have had issues with fitment.
The Hooker 2055s are also a good choice. Cheaper (price wise) and they install a little easier.

I was in the same boat as you a few years ago. I decided to go with the Hooker 2055's because:
1) If i'm paying a lot of money for them (got them coated), I should NOT have fitment issues as seen with the SLP's. Some people replaced their motor mounts and still had issues with them. Some people got them and they fit fine. It wasn't a risk I wanted to take.
2)The hooker Y pipe is very well designed and fits well.

Yeah, the Hookers are about 2/3's the price of SLP and they look/flow just as nice. I heard that Hookers sound nice also.
How much for a set of 2055/coated/y-pipe?

Except you need to spend another $100 with the SLPs for the install kit.
oops! forgot about that. I'm thinking about going with the mac true fit headers for my car, they come complete for 469.99 US. I hope these will bolt up to my LT1? Anyone know if they will?

Where do you live? How do you intend to use the car?
If you look at my post about the 2055's, you'll want to do something to protect them from corrosion if you drive it in the rust belt in the winter.

I want them on there as a daily driver with a nice sound that flows well over the stock pieces.
I live in Western NC, and hardly ever drive the roc unless its very nice outside.
