I'm redoing my exhaust--my ideas
well tommorrow i am goin down to the exhaust shop that welded my stuff together (meineke) LOL and see how much it would be to fab up a splitter (or ypipe) over my axle to have my single 3 inch pipe split into 2 2.5 inch pipes into 2 bullets, so i can have the GMMG like exhaust, and retain my dual exit tips that i like. not sure, i dont want to spend alot. i have seen flowmaster sells these little collector like y pipes to convert a 3inch to two 2.5 inch tubes for like 39 bucks. if i could use that, it would be alot cheaper than fabbing a piece
my other idea is to have a single 3inch bullet with the 18inch body, overall length is 23.25inchs in stock location. i am wondering tho, is the inlet outlets a slip fit connection? so i can just clamp it in or do i have to get it welded together? i am afraid it will be just abit too loud. i still have the stock cat tho so it might be ok.
i did run a straight pipe before when my clamped 80 series fell off once. LOL it was nice, idle was somewhat like with teh flow but on acceleration it was very loud and deep. abit too much. so i think a bullet might calm that down.
