I'm hoping with this thread we can get a complete list of available mufflers for a typical 3" dual exhaust and hopefully make this a sticky to help everyone else out.
I'd like to keep it nice and organized and include either single inlet/outlet designed mufflers as well as dual in dual out style.
Please only post any experience you have had with a particular muffler in the format:

Muffler: [brand] [series/part#] [description ie. 3", dual inlet/outlet]

Review: performance, sound, physical characteristics ie. dimensions of it.

And lastly if you have any pics available to post.

i would say most ppl need dual 2.5inch. as true duals 3inch is bit overkill for most motors.

but i have seen/heard many setups using dynomax bullets. usually come in 12inch body's, 16inch body, and 18inch body. 2.5inch inlet/outlet. superhigh flowing and loud.

for less noise, dynomax ultra flow mufflers... the round would be nice, the case one would work.

also good would be any chambered tube, from car chemistry, stainless works, summit tubes, sweet thunder, etc. they are loud and equally high flowing. sweet thunder will make custom lengths up to 60 inches!! a chambered tube is abit louder than a smooth tube

advantage to a round tube is space saving. very popular to dump it out before the rear axle.

flowmaster makes the hush power oval shaped mufflers... can be used for true duals on our cars more than likely

The lowest profile muffler made....very nice! Won't have to worry about ground clearance.
