Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700 R4
what shoud i do

i have a 91 z28 with the 350 tpi. i want to get a flowmaster 80 series, but my sis has a 91 rs with the 305 tbi, and its kind of quiet, would it be any lounder on my car, i want it to be loud and sound good, what is a good exhaust to get, i have to keep my cats due to emissions in my state, i thought about just cutting the muffler off but will i loose horse power, and is it bad for the car, thanks for all that help me out

Axle/Gears: They spin (most of the time)
A flowmaster will be a bit quiet, here is what you could do...get a set of shorty emission legal headers(like hedman or hooker) and the y pipe that comes with them and get your local exhaust shop to put on a Hi-Flow CAT and 3" pipe to a Flowmaster, get a Flowmaster with a single inlet and single outlet and run only one tailpipe or put a Spintech muffler on it(they sound good). This will sound good, but it want be real loud just a nice tone. just my

you wont loose any performance by just cutting off the muffler, i did it and it didnt sound like crap either

The cat-back alone woul dbe louder on your car. hers make less power and pushes it through a smaller exhaust system. A cat-back would make both cars louder and perform better.
