Air Tubes

I have a 92 Firebird with a throttle body 305, it had the air tubes cut and crimped by the manifolds. The crimps are starting to leak and it makes noise. I want to know if you can cap them and what effect it would have. And where can you get the caps?

i bought 1/8 caps at home depot
brass types
fit perfect
spray them up real good before trying to get the air tubes out

makes changing the plugs a hell of alot easier
