I have a 88 formula with the dual cats setup. i cant seem to find an exhaust that will fit the dual cat setup.I really dont want a flowmaster exhaust on the car.Will the LT1 or ls1 exhaust with the dual cat fit at all ? Any help or ideas would be great! Thanks

That being said, I don't know of anyone making a full exhaust system for a dual converter car. You can get a cat-back system from just about everybody it seems, but not the full exhaust. Your car being a 1988 car, I'm not sure, but that is the case for my 1992 Formula. In fact, noone makes what I want, so I will have to piece together a system the way I want it. It's gonna be tough, and possibly expensive, but it will be worth it to me. Also, I'm not in a hurry, so I can do what I can as I can afford it, and as I find someone to do it.

 

I just ordered a single cat exhaust,I think i will have to cut the intermediate pipe a little shorter so it will fit the dual cat setup.Ill line them up before i do any cutting.Ill let you know if it looks like it will wrok.If not, ill just send the the exhaust back.
