Header and exhaust Q?
Hey guys. I'm sorry for this not being about my third gen, but I've searched and can't find info. I'm curious about my 94 z28 and if it's possible to add headers, it seems like its much to crowded already. Also, if I were to swap the exhaust from stock to say, flowmaster (not with headers) and buy a compatible chip, what kind of horsepower increase if any am I looking to achieve? Thanks!

I dropped my headers in from the bottom. Much much easier since they were long tubes. The 4thgens are harder because half of the engine is under the cowl, but it can certainly be done. My friend was recently quoted $500 labor alone... so it sounds like alot of work.

I'm not worried about labor money, because the labor will be done by myself and my father, I just want to know if I need to get it on a lift, or if I need a cherry picker or something...and whether or not I should spend the money on them if its not going to work.
