dumped or back in the bumper
im getting a single exhaust with spintech pro street muffler but im not sure what i should do ? should i dump it with a turndown or should i have a single tailpipe exiting out the back? which is better?

Since your going with the single exit I would say tuck it up high and have it dump behind the bumper. If you can get it just right you won't be able to see the tail pipe and it will look clean. That's what I did with mine and nobody has any idea what I have up in there until they get under the car. That's my .02 though.

But don't you get exhaust gases into the car when sitting still (like at a stop light) that way?

Nope. Also, after reading again my statement is not true. I'm not using a "dump pipe" but more like a huge stock type tail pipe. What we did was make the pipe flush with the bumper in the stock location. If you get down you can see that it sits just below but like maybe a 1/4 of an inch. I never smell exhaust with the way it's setup. Having done this, with the car running in the dirt you can see the exhaust hitting the ground about 1 to 1.5 feet behind the car. I'll see if i can find a pic to show.
