How quiet are they? Looking at the 3" single outlet but it needs to be kinda quiet. I'm trying to build a sleeper Like a little rumble but nothing obnoxious.

Their louder than stock at mild cruising, but more of a tone change than a volume change. It wakes up with some throttle but still keeps that great tone. It sounds like a performance exhaust if that's what your asking. I think it would be good for a sleeper: not too loud, but with great performance.

Thanks that was what I was looking for. I ordered the Aero Chamber today. 3" offset inlet single outlet. It's black too, harder to see Now I'll have fun trying to tuck and hide that 3" tailpipe.

Good luck you'll be happy with it, it's a very popular exhaust.

I got the single outlet aero chamber and it came in yesterday. Not super quiet but it's got a good sound to it.

Mine is about as loud as it was with the stock 5.0 HO exhaust system on it. Maybe a little bit louder. The idle is not loud, and cruise not loud either, but full throttle is pretty loud.

On my car, I used the kit for the '83-85 L69 Camaro/Firebird, and even with the addition of headers at the same time, idle and part throttle are about as loud as stock (but sounds much better) and full throttle is both louder and much better sounding than stock.

I didn't use the Hooker tips that came with the kit though, I used a pair of 16x3" angle-cut tips. They toned down the sound quite a bit. Sounds quieter, but alot deeper at the same time.

I've had my system for about 4-5 months now, and I'm very happy with it.

BTW - I'm gonna make a plug here for how well it performs... with my Camaro out at the track, it doesn't seem to make any difference in MPH or ET if I open the cutout, or leave it to breathe through the tail pipes. The Hooker system breathes VERY well.
