what kind of exhaust tubing would you guys recommend for a 6.0 362? i think engine....one of my friends has a 2003 GMC Denali truck engine with the 6.0...he was wondering if it would be wise to use both my XR-1 borla round mufflers with 3' inlet and outlet with dual pipes from the the cat back? would this work or would it be better to go 2 1/2 inch dual back.....from the catalytic of course....he does not want to replace the cat.......anyways i know this is not a thirdgen question but any help will do.....some charity advise please...thanks....

 

If it is anything like my 03 HD he should be able to just take out his muffler and put in the XR-1s.He may have to get a couple of filler pieces to make up for the size of the muffler. It should go right in the stock location though, factory muffler is dual 3" in and out I think.Should sound sweet. Now If you could just get that 6.0 in your Iroc....

 

A 6.0 is just an iroc block LS1... do what the LS1 guys do

 

the 6.0 is an iron block 364 in the trucks. its the same motor in my GTO but only differnece is intakes and mine is alumin.
