One step closer.

I am still waiting to order the oval pipe. I am getting rid of my sportlines and putting stockers back in to get more clearance. I might just go over to round and save the $. Damn x-mas is expensive. I really wish i could see yours evil. I guess I will sit tight.

It is 7* out so I guess I can wait, hehe.

Getting one machine moved out of the way tonight and have the big bolts ordered to bolt down the lift. Here's how it looked as of last night, nothing in it's final place just yet.

THe car sounds wicked

Nice lift too! There seems to be alot of inexpensive lifts around in California and in NJ on E-bay. How much did you get yours for?

Paid 1500 for it, friend didn't make any money off the deal so it's ok. Hasn't been used much at all even though it looks rough. The shop I got it out of used to be an auto shop but now it's a paint company's. They splattered all kinds of paint on it in spots Moved one machine tonight, might get the last one taken care of over the weekend or early next week.

btw, here's a video of the way the car sounds at the track... slow run due to a failing fuel pump car starts to die off in 2nd gear. Here's the video

Finally! sorry for the long wait, plans got changed and other stuff had to get done before what finally happened this week. Got the lift hooked up and running today

So here is the photo of the underside of my car. I didn't notice till the car was on the lift the exhaust wasnt shooting straight back or was even side to side Guess that's what I get for working on my back with the car on 4 jack stands plus rushing to get it done. Oh well, now I can build another nicer looking exhaust for around town. I'll keep this one for racing.

I was wondering what was going on. I'm sure the rack is going to make your life a heck of alot easyer! Welding on your back isnt too much fun.

I got my lift going last night! I just did a temporary wire run to make sure it worked but I still need to get some chemical anchor bolts since the ones that came with it dident catch at the bottem of the holes.

If you have a spare $2400 you can get one like I got, 10K Asymetric. Ebay has tons floating around I wanted a used one but there was nothing local that was less then the new one. Of course most people dont have the space for one.

Looks good! Have any pics on the ground? Any ideas on ground clearance?

Yeah, it's crap LOL about 3 inches at the lowest point Still drive over speed bumps without much fuss so it's ok. The next system is going to be done different.

You will have to keep me posted on your next system and I will do the same. I should be redoing my exhaust soon, I am almost thinking that since I dont have any carpet in my car right now, modifying the floor boards would give the best results. That is about the only way I can see doing true duals right now with decent ground clearance.

My problem with my last system was my suspension was so soft that I had great weight transfer at the track, however I could bottom the exhaust out just driving down the road if I hit a bump right .

I'm looking for better ground clearance with my long tubes. Here's my plan for it. Some angle bends go to around the transmission then tuck them up the transmission tunnel.
