dented pipe!

I was under my car today, 1990 Iroc-z28, and i realized that the exhaust pipe that seems to be coming down from the engine block which then leads into the Muffler\Cat converter *not sure which, dont know alot about exhaust system* which then leads to tail pipe is dented, its dented right after it bends around the oil pan and continues down the right side of the body, it looks like someone tried to use it as a jack point >_< and ideas on a possible fix, it looks as if its dented about a 1/4 to 1/2 way in... can provide pictures soon if it will help

Stock exhaust is restrictive enough and a dented pipe certainly isn't helping matters.

I think your talking about the crossover(?) pipe that leads from the drivers side header to the Y pipe... This is a restriction without a dent... so yeah its affecting your performance.

Get an edelbrock tes headers/y pipe...
