Mandrel Exhaust Pipe Shops in Southeastern Wisconsin

Does anyone know of any exhaust shops that mandrel bend 3" pipe for my car, i need to go from the SLP y-pipe to my flowmaster 80 series muffler. I am not running a cat cause my super-rammed 383 will be close to 500 HP.

Check your other thread you mentioned the cat it. Its entirely possible to run a cat on that motor if you want to.

Just out of curiosity 84firebird383, what did they quote you on for a dual exhaust, and what components (mufflers), and where were the exit points?

For a 3" mandrel bent system with an X pipe dumped in front of the axel he said $200. I didn't ask but I know he could do a system exiting the rear

I have one more question about this......

I have the SLP 1 3/4 headers with the slp y-pipe, it has 2 1/2 inch pipes that go into a 3 inch collector right before the endo of the y-pipe. I plan on cutting it right before the 3 inch section and attaching 2- 2 1/2 inch cats, one on each 2 1/2 inch pipe. From thereI am debting whether i will need more than a 3"mandrel bent pipe to my flowmaster muffler. I know one 3 1/2 inch pipe equals the area of two 2 1/2 inch pipes. But i think the dual cats would still be the biggest restrition. What do you guys think. Plus my current flowmaster 80 series muffler has 3 inch in and dual 2 1/2 inch pipes out.

there is one real close to you but, never got me the number. my friend knows where the guy is located. sorry but, I rarely get a hold of my friend anymore so all I can say is just ask locally. (I belive he has the tooling for it there. other wise the is a shop up near madison that works with the bends but, has to order them pre bent. they do stock them though
