I know a bunch of you guys use these headers, they are the Hedman shorties (68470).

I've been told that Hedman says that the only angle plug heads they work with are the GM aluminum angle plug heads (ie. Corvette heads).

I know they work with straight plugs, because thats what I have now, but over the winter I'm going to be replacing them with some new heads, either TrickFlow or AFR.

What I want to know, is if these headers will work with TFS or AFR angle plug heads, or if it really is only the Corvette heads they will work with.

So these headers do work with aftermarket angle plug heads then?

 

They work with my trickflow angle heads. THey probably won't work with a true angle head (where all the plugs are point one way).

AFAIK, all sbc angle plug heads have the plugs like \ / \ / because the idea is to have the spark plug point at the exhaust valve.
