exhaust leak again on 2.8L

exhaust leak again on 2.8L
I replaced the exhaust gaskets that go between the manifold and the exhaust pipe. They are some carbon-like flange gaskets. After about 6 months, one of them is already leaking again.... Is this normal? I'd like to find something better if I'm going to replace them again.

First i would try tightening the bolts again. Its possible they have come loose. You could also try a soft metal gasket like copper or aluminum.
