I got the 305 TBI engine and I wanna get an exhaust cut out, my exhaust system is all stock with the 2.25 inch tubing, but everywhere I look there doesn't seem to be any exhaust cuts out, they are all 2.5 inch and above....am I missing somewhere?

 

You can buy adapters that are like spacers for fit something 2.5" with a pipe 2.25"

 

is this something my local exhaust shop should have?


and also about how much hp increase would I see if an exhaust cut out is fully uncapped?

The adapters? An exhaust shop will, and most auto parts stores (Autozone, etc) will too.
