I have always wondered if 1 5/8's Longtubes are better(in both torque and HP) than
1 3/4 shorties.
Also what would you reccomend/pick and why?
Any opinions appreciated. Thanks

plus u havent said what kinda engine. we can all assume ur talking about the l98 in ur sig. but u havent said if its stock or mod'd. if mod'd, how much. personally.. if nothen major is done, id go with shorties, but if u have soem majopr mods done, heads, cam, ect, then id go LT's, but then id also go 1 3/4 LT's.

If I go around giving people the answers all the time, for one, my fingers will be cramped up, and the other, nobody will learn anything for themselves, they will expect to be spoonfed everything.
The topic of longtubes versus shorties has been discussed on this board over and over. A simple search will reveal quite a few answers. If you still have questions, then feel free to post and ask about what you didnt understand.
