Will this exhaust fit?
I am looking at getting a 3" American Thunder Dual Outlet cat back system. The only problem is that it says it is for 1986-91 cars, and as you can see I have an '82. Will this system fit on my car? I don't know of any thing that could be different from the cat back on these cars, but I don't know why they don't list it from 82 on.

Come on somebody out there has to know. It is part number 17233 from Flowmaster if you need to know the numbers.

It will fit your car, it won't fit your cat.
My advice would be to upgrade the entire exhaust from the ports on the head to the rear bumper with aftermarket parts made for that application.

I was think about putting on new headers, either hooker part number 2055 or hedmans (i believe the part number is 68481) and then the flowmaster cat-back. So if it did this I guess I would just have to buy a cat that would work on an '86 and up T/A (of course it would have to be 3")?
