I looked threw there lineup and saw online one set that included a y-pipe and was for the stock flange? Anyone know the output size of that or if I can modify it without restricting anything to 3"?

It can be modded, do a search and you'll see some results and an extensive how-to article.

I just modified a set of shorties to fit my TPI powered jag. I can't post pics here, (size to big and I'm 'puter illiterate) but you can email me and I'll send you some. You might gain a few ideas.

Why not just buy the Hooker 2055s and have someone cut the AIR tubes off and weld them shut for you? Then you'll have headers that fit your exact criteria. In fact, that's what I did with mine.

Mine are honestly barely noticable, but if you are doing it for a show car look then I understand.

After the welds are ground down, polished, and the headers ceramic coated, you'll never see them.

As I said earlier I just modified a set and as just posted if they are done right, after coating you won't be able to tell OR if you were to cut the tube where the fitting is at and TIG a new tube in it will look like you have a custom set of headers. They have to be tig'd though and done one tube at a time to prevent the header from changing shape. Anything is doable its just how bad ($$$$$) do you want it?!

I am thinking to just get long tubes. Dunno.

SLP !!!

SLP has a coated set, part # 30005C. They dont have the un-coated set listed on their site anymore, might be worth a phone call to see if they still have them. These are high quality stainless steel headers, have had mine on for ~8 months, no leaks anywhere. Found mine new on E-bay, might take a look there too.

As Vortec mentioned SLP makes what you want right out of the box. However, their headers come with thier coating which has been known to be very thin and flake off within a short amount of time. I would go with the modified Hooker 2055's and have them coated.

Hooker

Hooker makes what you are looking for. I just installed a set with matching Y-pipe on my Iroc,,,,very nice,,,no smog tubes to deal with,,,and it even comes with a test pipe if you want to remove the converter.
Part number is 2460 for the headers and the matching Y-pipe is 16767KHR,,,,,it has the 3 bolt (gasket) collector flange which I like because most people complain about the ball flange being restrictive. The only problem I see for you is where the collector comes together,,,,it's 2 1/2 inches. It's easy to mod though,,,,I just swelled the end of mine to fit nicely inside a 3 inch pipe and ran a 3 inch pipe to the factory hanger where the converter originally hangs,,,then a 3 inch cat back from there. It all went together very nicely,,,,,heard many horror stories about installing headers on these cars,,,,,not sure what all the complaining was about,,,these headers literally fell in through the top on both sides on my car,,,it was a breeze,,,,"shrug" hope that helps,,,Larry.

OOOPS

I got the letters a little mixed up on the part number,,,,it's HKR for the Y-pipe.
Just to add,,,I was contemplating the same thing everyone is mentioning,,,about going with the 2055's and then removing the smog tubes,,,,I dreaded doing that,,,and trying to hide the work after the fact. No one wanted the 2460's at the time without the air tubes because there was no Y-pipe to go with it.
Hooker has now solved that problem,,,there is no need to buy 2055's anymore and cut off the air tubes. They now make a very nice Y-pipe to go with the 2460's,,,,it's all one piece,,,it bolted right on and the fit is as good as it gets.
Just thought I would reinterate that fact incase people are unaware,,,,no need to mod the 2055's anymore. I am very happy with the setup Larry.
