hedman LT's vs. hooker 2460's
both headers are around the $150 figure so should i go with the hedman lt's or the better brand of hookers but in shorties 2460's. i dont wanna spend $400 on hooker lt's though. also ive heard that long tubes can overkill a car if its under 300 hp, i have many bolt ons but dont think ive eclipsed the 300 mark yet. should i stick to shorties?

Well i dont realy know about the whole 300hp thing. The way i look at it is to build your car for what you plan on doing in the future. Would you rather buy shorties now and longtubes for when u pass 300 hp??

Longtubes Overkill? I'm not sure what you mean by overkill, but all other things being equal, on ANY engine, properly designed long tubes will give more power and efficiency. Weather they are worth the loss of space and ground clearance, voiding smog and requiring a custom or semi custom y pipe, that is up to you. it's a pretty big trade-off for about 10 HP, IMHO.

Well dudes I just got my 2460's ceramic coated, ypipe, and catback exhaust for right at $800 from jegs. I am pretty pumped and am installing it this weekend. Will let you know how it goes.
