header assistance required. apply within!

im ordering headers by the end of the week. maybe tomarrow if all goes well. what do you think on the hedman 68470's and will i have any issues with getting to the plugs on a lt1 w/ them

I have the hedman shorties on mine. I did have one plug I had a prob getting to. but it was not that bad. I like the headers. I don't have a leak and the y- pipe fit nice.

I installed the same headers on my 83 prostreet, and what a PAIN IN THE BUTT they were to get in. In the end I ended up running a mini starter due to clearance issues. They are also a VERY tight fit. I had to lift the engine to get them in there. They also seem to rub on the frame in places they shouldnt. If I were you I'd go with Hooker full length or go shorties. And if you have angle plug heads...good luck! That will be NO fun either.
