y-pipe leak
went to have my car inspected today and to my dismay, it failed. apparently there are a few leaks in the y-pipe. well, not apparently, there ARE. ha. I was wondering if i could get away with patching these leaks somehow without having to go through the trouble of replacing the entire pipe. there is no rust or anything.. just seems to be a couple cracks.
interesting thing is, the car had no trouble passing its last emissions. go fig.
plz let me know if there is some kind of glue/tape/epoxy out there i can use for this. also, would this "repair" solution be shoddy enough for the inspector to fail me twice?!
thx guys.

thereis this stuff out there that is called muffler bandage. Its kinda like a cast...you roll it and dip it in the cement water....wrap it around many times it will do the trick but i don't know how long

found a guy that would weld it up pretty cheap. turns out i have A LOT of leaks in my exhaust. i asked meineke about that cement stuff and they said it's unlikely the station would pass me having just patched it up with that. appreciate the input tho.
