4th gen slp loudmouth on 3rd gen? please help

ok i love the sound of the loudmouth exhaust on the 4th gens, and i want it for mine. but they dont make it for a 3rd gen. im told a 4th gen will fit with some minor mods maybe. i know you can just buy the ressonator but i am in a state that sucks and has emissions and lets just say my car wont pass when its done so if i dont have cats on (which no way in hell that i will put em on) no shops will touch it cause of the risk of 50,000 dollar fines here. so i need a fairly easy bolt on if possible. i dont know anyone who could make me a custom exhaust or weld for that matter so im stuck. i want the loudmouth for the sound and the size. since my car will have a 400sb with about 625+ hp it will need to breath. and the louder the better......lol anyone who can help me out i will appreciate it!

If you want a system that will support 625hp than there is really only one off the shelf kit that you need to look at. A 3" system will not suffice. I would look at the 4" muflex kits and or run a 3" kit with cutouts. Use the search function to find out more info on running 4th gen set-ups on 3rd gens. There are plenty of threads that cover the LM system.

umm look at true duals or a single 4". A single 3" will choke your motor. Like shifty said, check out mufflex.

in answer to the original question if anyone searches this up in the future, yes the SLP LM can be made to fit, but it's just an overpriced pipe. Get a dynomax bullet and save yourself $80 bucks.
