I believe than anything that does not extend a certain distance from the underbody of the car is illegal. i cant tell you for sure what is or isnt legal for your specific area though...

Hi I was told that the exhaust has to exit after the passenger compartment thats why corvettes could have sidepipes, no back seat and thats why shops can do it to pickups I tryed to do it to mine years ago and the shop wouldnt do and thats the reason they gave me...........Now if you know someone......?

Yes i heard that before but someone said you could just take out your back seats and it would be legal and since the seats in my car just pull out i wasnt sure if i could do that or not.
