I will soon be putting a built 350 into my car and was planning on a setup like the mufflex system with longtubes. the motor is supposed to be putting out about 450hp. I wanted to run 4" intermediate into a dynomax ultra-flo, but dynomax does not make it in a single 4" in/ dual 3" out. Do you think a 3" pipe would be enough or is there anyway to modify a 3" ultra flow to fit a 4" pipe?

Why not just get another brand that has the 4" to dual 3" muffler?

 

3" should be more than efficient. If your gonna race it, Your better off installing a electric cutout.
