worth buying?
i have a chance to buy some flowtech shorty headers for my camaro for only 30 bucks, the only problem is, they are 1 1/2" primaries, i plan on upgradeing to hooker LT's with x pipe later once i get my motor built, but for 30 bucks and an after noon to intall them would it be worth it?

It is up to you. Those headers are 96$ brand new and your upgraded headers will be much better. I think its 30$ well spent because you can turn around and sell them for twice as much when your done with them.

Smart choice. Flowtechs suck. They will cause you so many headaches. You will need quality header bolts and expensive collector and flange gaskets. They will be warped and they will not seal. The y-pipe doesn't allign well and its performance is a joke. You are also plagued with a 2.5" y-pipe that will have to be connected to the rest of your exhaust. It is a lot of work.
You will not be able to sell them for twice what you paid. That is unless you sell them to a sucker who thinks cheap headers are great.
