Stock System Install

Stock System Install

Is it possible to buy all the stock exhaust components from a place like NAPA and then install them yourself, using stainless band clamps, thereby avoiding having to pay a shop labor for the install, or having to do any welding?

I am getting a plan ready for if my TA fails the MA inspection for having an aftermarket exhaust.

On my 89 celica, the parts to do a cat back were 2-3 times more expensive than having it done at an exhaust shop.(advance auto, i don't think i checked napa) Pop's exhaust in manchester is a decent exhaust shop that's cheap, did my celica and a few friends. They are better than steel clamps, and my setup has lasted fine. I'd give them a call for a quote. (860) 645-6095. They were at the stafford swapmeet too. They do alot of imports, so I'd bring a muffler, or ask for something better than their cheepie. Just another option.

ive used napa pipes on all my cars here in the north,without any problems.
Ive always called them with exact application,and everything went smooth.
Im not a fan of bandclamps,unless using on flexpipe,but others may think different.
I personally,if going new stock,get the pipes,use reguler clamps,and youll be styllin.

Not too bad,,just get the car up on a lift,or about 2 feet up on stands.
The worst is removal of the old stuff,
Was just on the phone with lee at napa,for a few subaru parts{moms car}
And he shot me a quote on complete iroc exhaust,minus manifolds+muffler for about $275.
so, thats something to think about also,
