Exhaust help

I'm looking for a nice wake up call for my lo3 so I figured I would start with exhaust, but i have a quick question. When I was looking for systems I noticed a lot of them say TPI only. Does it really matter if its TBI/TPI when dealing with the exhaust?

Wait for a 2nd opinion here - but I think the TPI exhausts are larger (diameter), and therefore more desireable, than the TBI systems - the TPI systems will fit since SBC is SBC.

Yes thats true, the 2 1/2" and 3" aftermarket cat-back that fit TPI will also fit TBI, just make sure that its for a single cat as opposed to dual cat.

Thanks, I was wandering why that would matter on an exhaust system.
