Yea I was just trying to bolt an American Thunder 3" single up to my Hooker Headers. Found out the hard way that you can't use the stock exhaust routing with a 7 quart Morosso oil pan. I'm either gonna have to run the y-pipe back behind the tranny crossmember or just run duals. If I have to run a y pipe that far I might as well run duals anyways. not sure about dual routing though so any suggestions would help. I don't want to switch oil pans. you'd think the general could have found a way to give us more room to run exhaust, but thats probably why I'm not an engineer.

Easiest way to run duals is past the trany then out in front of the rear wheels but behind the body bracing that runs along tha bottom of the trans tunnel. If clearance is a problem there are ovalized pipes available to give you a bit more room, plus run chambered exhaust as it only 1/2 inch larger than the pipe and is excelent for sound. Think 69 camaro stock exahust. Bigger cubes help in the sound department. I ran ovalized bends to ovalized pipe for the ends and used the chabered exahust as the intermidiate pipe for each side, added a H pipe after the trans and custom peices to get around the slave cyl. and starter then up to the shorty headers. For people with Trans ams and GFX you may want to do some creative modding to the GFX to get the pipe higher. I have a formula so it wasn't a problem.
