one last exhaust question from me.

i want to run an inline 'resonator' where the cat would go and still run my spintech out back. why? to reduce the rasp.

i see i have a few choices but dont know much about either. one is the borla xr1 ive really had my eye on, and of coarse there is the moroso spiral tech and the dynatech.

anyone have any input on this?

Flowmaster makes an inline resonator but its offset/offset part #15110. I would recommend putting one of Flowmasters one chamber delta flow mufflers where the cat is supposed to be center/center 3". That would definetely tone down the rasp.

i wish i could find sound clips of inline resonators through a spintech but goodluck lol, whats the difference in sound gonna be from a one chamber muffler versus a straight through like the xr1?

I just installed the smaller Dynomax Bullet about 18" behind the CAT and it made a nice "tone down" change to my setup used with the dynomax Ultra Flo muffler. No rasp, no pop. I like it now!

What's wrong with a high-flow cat? It'll fix your problem and reduce emissions from your car at the same time.
