i've searched this forum a kajillion times, but i couldn't find the answer to my question:
Does the dynomax bullet sound all clappy and horrible sounding when u let off the gas when u revv ur engine (like straight pipes)?
im thinking about sticking 2 2.5"ers in place of my big turbo(crapcan) mufflers. if i do, ill get some clips, i got LT 1 7/8 primaries and true duals dumping out the rear, no H/X pipe. and the headers aren't tuned length, i love its idle sound.

it really depends on the motor. one with a big cam and heads the flow well and higher compression is not going to sound clappy when lifting through straight pipes like an 8.5:1 compression smogger will. though i've never heard the bullets on an 8.5:1 smogger, i've never heard the bullets act like that...
