what is the best third gen exhaust system?

i have a 88 formula. its exhaust is stock except for a hooker muffler and 3.5 inch tips. what is the best exaust system in the market for 3rd gen f body's. i want headers for sure, what kind should i get. how much would a stainless steal true dual exhaust to the axle cost?

i have had good experience with flowmaster. and for headers go with hooker or hedman. but for a true dual to the axle you would have to make it from scratch. i looked into it for a while but decided to go with shorty headers and a cat back system for the street legality and it costs a lot less than fabing up a true dual. but if you are willing to spend the time and money, go with the dual for it gives more hp.

Best exhaust system? That leaves the opinion field wide open. Many members, including me, would suggest that Hooker's 2055's are the best headers for our cars, simply because of the y-pipe. After that suggestion....

HAHAHA! I love being in college!

I have Hooker 2055's with the Hooker catback system, and it sounds really good. However, im looking to get a before-the-axle system made to reduce weight, maybe with a Spintech.
