Has anyone been able to constuct a y pipe for longtubes that sits in the factory spot

Hello

I searched for quite a while and didnt get the answere i was looking for. I want to install hedman longtubes and would like to make a y pipe that would sit where the factory y pipe is tucked away. Has anyone ever been able to sandwich a y pipe in there for longtubes or is it physically impossible?

Thanks so much...... I figured i better ask before i sacrifice my ground clearance with a huge y collectior infront of the tranny.

I believe the long tube collector is already past the location where the factory y pipe is located.

if you look at this pic, you can see that the collector dumps way after the stock y-pipe starts and is actually aft the bellhousing flange. i built this y-pipe for the hedmans and i can't think of another way to do it...

mw66nova do you think that you could send me more pics of your y pipe system.... i like the way you did it and would like to do something simmilar with my longtube hedmans. If it isnt too much trouble i would really apreciate it.
